You may be sitting there wondering what makes Jen Shakeel CPS different than the hundreds of services out there currently. Simply put, I care about your results and I make sure that your resume and cover letter are not only industry-specific, but they are job specific.
Most other resume writing services will create a resume that may or may not focus on your specific industry. They may or may not use industry-specific keywords. They will ask if you have a job description that you are specifically applying for, and they could tailor your resume to that job description.
Guess what. Today your resume must be specific to each job you are applying for. Does this mean that each job requires a separate resume? Not exactly. What it means is that with each job you are applying for your current resume MUST be tailored to that company and the job description they supply.
ATS, also known as applicant tracking system software. (Just so you know, there are 109 different ATS software tracking systems). If when that software scans your resume you don’t hit the 80 to 90% mark of what they are looking for… the recruiter isn’t even going to see you.
It does not matter if you are the best there is in your field. If your resume doesn’t meet the search criteria they have, they won’t see you.

Jen Shakeel CPS focuses heavily on relationship building with that in mind we offer something no one else does. Interview preparation and research. This isn’t going over just a list of questions that you could be asked during the interview process. That is for amateurs.
What we offer is research and coaching on the company you are interviewing with and the person that will be conducting the interview. It can make all the difference in the world, walking into an interview and understanding what is currently happening in the company and finding a way to connect with the person you are talking to. ESPECIALLY when so many first and second round interviews are conducted on the phone or via video calls.
With Jen Shakeel CPS, we will do that research for you. Provide you with industry news, hot topics and general feedback from employees on the company. We will also find a common interest between you and the person interviewing you to help break the ice and build a bond.
